Nemos "lucky fin"

We just got back from seeing finding nemo. Didn't realise beforehand that Nemo
has a small fin. It's a good movie overall, but a good story for kids and most
especially for parents of kids with a problem like BPI. Dad is way over
protective at the beginning and scared to let Nemo do anything. I don't want to
give away the movie or story, but suffice to say that it has a happy ending and
dad learns a lesson about all the things Nemo can do. Thumbs up from our family.

I was just getting on here to post the same topic. When I saw the commercials on cable and realized it was about an overprotective parent and nemo had a "bad fin" (it's smaller than the other, commercials words not mine) then I knew we could relate to it! The newspapers played down the fin though and said he was overprotective due to the loss of the mother and her eggs. Nemo was the only one left.Going tonight to see it and I hope all of you get to!

Yeh first act reminded me of Bambi when I was a little girl. I survived. Very enjoyable!!!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot to mention earlier, the reviews in our paper gave it 5 stars on a 4 star system. A must see.

We will be going to see this movie very soon. Hannah wants to see it really bad! I am not sure how Ella will be in the theatre, but we will give it a shot. She was pretty fussy towards the end of The Wild Thornberry's movie. I am excited to see it now.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

We went and saw it yesterday. I took Zoe with my niece and nephew. Everyone really enjoyed it even though I had to take Zoe to the lobby for about 20 min. so she would stop fussing. But other than that, we really enjoyed it. I would recomend it to all!! I agree that the "lucky" fin was wonderful! :)

We loved it, too. I had no idea about the "lucky fin" until we saw it. My husband and I looked at each other over our daughter's head and we both had tears in our eyes. What a great story for us all. What is amazing for us is Cameron has always called her bpi arm her "lucky arm." So weird... I think she believes it's because it gets all the attention :-)

YES! YES! YES! I just heard about the fish with the disability on "The View". They mentioned the small fin! I was going to post about it and someone already had. We went to see the movie yesterday and it was sold-out. I hadnt known about the "lucky fin", I think I would have flipped! I cant wait to go see it with the kiddos on Friday. Tell everyone to go see this movie and tell them why it is special!!!!!!!!
