Only adults Francine--I spoke with a few before we had Katie's surgery. There was much less pain than before the caps and much better movement for some reason (this surgery allows for a little better range as long as they have the muscle for it). The biggest factor was less frequent dislocations (my brother has this from an old football injury and it is excruciating for him when it happens out of the blue) thus less pain. Surgery pain and post casting stiffness and of course all the extra therapy they had to do was the complaints. Not any kids though..

We do have a surgeon that is doing limb lengthening for our special needs kids in our area though and I am watching his op notes to see if I can see some stuff our kids may or may not have to go through. Keep you posted.
