I would appreciate a list explaining 'Birth erb', OBPI, and all the rest or the initialed types of BPI. Maybe I'm uneducated but I bet there are others that don't know for what the initials stand.

birth erb: a name for brachial plexus injury at birth

BPI: brachial plexus injury

OBPI: obstetrical brachial plexus injury....an injury caused whe a baby gets stuck in the birth canal and the dr pulls on the baby's head causing the nerve to be damaged

TBPI: traumatic brachial plexus injury....an injury that occurs any time after birth. usually an accident of some kind, or a result of a surgery gone wrong, or no reason at all. (i just met a man friday that has a TBPI in both arms. apparently by just resting his arms on a shelf)

any others you want to know? hope that helps
