well its benn a while since ive been on but had the srgery back in august about 4 months back. shoulder feels strong as ever but still no movement in arm. no bicep or tricep. its really weird bcause the sensation you get from taping my upper arm has intensified ten fold [ like holding a electric fence]. and now that sensation you get from tapping has moved down my arm almost to my rist although it is no where near the severity i get from just slightly taping my upper arm. if you now what i mean. and my whole arm has bulked up a little appart from wher my bicep and tricep area are. any way any one have simmilar after the nerve transfer calf nerves. [serial nerves].

I havent had that particular surgery Troy. I understand that taping sensation though, my wrist hurts a lot too, but my arm did get substantially better after my surgery. It took forever and a lot of work to build the muscle back up to where it didn't just look concave. What did your doctor say?

My nerve transfer produced the opposite effect. My shoulder is terrible but I am starting to really gain some "meat" in my bicep region. I am wondering if anything can be done for my shoulder - my bicep has become a little stronger by the month. It has been 13 months since my nerve transfer.

Good luck!

Opposite of me? Hilltop, I had similar results to you too. I meant the bicep still looked concave for awhile. It built up with a lot of work, but I broke my arm again working out at 13 months post op, so now I'm working on it again. I dont have much if any shoulder either. From what I understand, the surgery has a pretty high success rate for the bicep, like 85 percent or so, but really low success rate for the deltoid.
