Hello,
I had left thoracic outlet surgery in 1992 resulting in additional problem of stretch to my brachial plexus and a heamatoma over the plexus. I was helped after 2 surgeries on my plexus in 1993.
I was good for over 10 years then I started to have problems.
About 3 yrs. ago everytime I stretched too far I would get pins and needles then my arm then I stretched too far doing my work and my arm became diffusely weak taking aproximately 2.5 years to repair.
I was ok for about 9 months.
About 5 weeks ago I noticed some initial pain and faciculations in my left arm and a drop in my shoulder followed by weakness in my arm the next day again.
Anyone else out there with this? Suggestions?

hi!

sorry to hear about your problems. I am not exactly sure what is causing them but I suggest you go to a doctor and have them check it out. Sounds like there might be some nerve issues going on.

I got my BPI from thoracic outlet surgery as well. Except, mine happened because the nerves were cut while the doc was trying to cut out my cervical rib and scalene.

Wish I could be more help, but the only thing I can say is definitely get to a BPI doc or neurologist to check it out. They can do some testing and try to figure it out.
