Jan 09 Car accident dislocated shoulder, broken humerus, completely flail shoulder down I've gradually got feeling and motion back to the whole arm and fingers....finger tips & parts of my thumb pad still lack feeling.....I had X-rays @ the ER & almost weekly for 2mths to check on my fracture to see if it would require surgery. That's the extent of testing done...and PT.
I had my last Dr. appt in June...and by last I mean no further appointments scheduled.

I am on 600mg Neurontin 3xs daily 8mg zanaflex 3xs daily

My BPI arm will turn bright red just out of the blue....I also get the warm/cold arm all day long. The arm is also quite a bit larger...swollen...than my good arm. My pain is mostly in my thumb..thumb pad...wrist...then just below my...@ elbow...it ranges anywhere from shooting pains to a burning feels....
I have twitching going on constantly all throughout my arm...not that painful just anoying & odd looking : ) My elbow has also started locking/catching when I try to pick something up and carry it with that arm....anyone know why this is happening?

I am still in a great deal of pain even with the meds i'm on....not all day....it just comes and goes.

Are there any other options I should consider? Anything that might relieve the pain?

Have you been to see a BPI specialist??

I would recommend contacting Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. I think they have the most experience for TBPI and have a wonderful TEAM of specialists.

Best of luck and keep us posted!!
