I need some advice. My child was born premature at 23 weeks weighting 1 lb and 9 oz. He was diagnosed with a brachial plexus injury last January. He is now 16 months and I am very new to the subject. Reading this page made me think that I should do something legally for him, but I don't know where to start. Can somebody help me to understand more about this subject and if somebody can write in Spanish will be better. Thank you.

hola rosy como esta usted? yo hablo espanol y tengo un nino de 7anos. Tambien igual que tu soy de kansas pero hace tres anos nos vinimos para Tejas. Gracias a Dios estamos mas cerca a Houston donde el cirujano de mijo tiene su oficina. Mijo ya lleva 5 operaciones. Es lo mas dificil que he yo enfrentado en este mundo-darle a la enfermera a mi bebe de 9 meses para que lo lleven tres de las puertas grandes y operarmelo. Tu bebe esta recibiendo terapia? En estos momentos no tengo correo electronico pero si gusta le puedo dar mi numero de telefono para que me pueda llamar cuando quiera.

Yes he just started. Since he was born I asked the doctors why his arm was not moving and they never gave me a concrete answer. When my son turned 12 months I took him with a doctor who diagnosed brachial plexus. He is an orthopedic doctor. I am also taking him to childrens mercy at the brachial plexus clinic.
