What is a keloid?

Saw some people talking about it. What does it look like? Why do you get them? Any info is appreciated. Also what is scar revision? Thank you!

Keloid is just a raised scar.
Scar revision is when they surgically redo the incision (correct the issues - remove the keloids) in hopes for a better scar second time around.
