It amazes me how little OBPI is talked about in the press and online.

I was searching around all morning and sending out mini press releases about awareness week and it just annoys the hell out of me that with the occurance rate of BPI that it gets no attention...I see the dumbest articles that waste space/time...

bottle water vs tap water
how to wrap a sprained ankle

even worse is the expectant mother pages...

how to use a layette
proper use of baby wipes
music and your child...etc

i could list them all day but ill stop...

Its annoying ... lets keep hitting the media for more press...I dont think enough is done to stop this...it can be stopped

Yeah. I was watching tv the last few weeks and saw Quaid talking about what happened with his babies and McCarthy with her son (of course they are talking about important issues too) and I thought how sad it is that it'll take a BPI happening to a Star's child before it hits the media. They (being someone a person with the media's attention) could maybe prevent that before it happened if we could get a voice. I didn't explain that well so I hope it didn't come off unfeeling. I don't want this to happen to another child-that's not what I'm saying. It is so hard on the entire family and the child.
