Dear Jazzy
I think it would be a good idea to post this on the General Board. Most of the adult/obpi have not had surgery. The parents usually post on the General Board and you have a better chance of finding someone who can answer this question.
Lots of good luck

My son will be 4 in a week, and he just had a tendon transfer surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. I'm not sure if this is the same surgery as your daughter. His surgery put his wrist in a neutral-upright position, as it was always curling inward, and not very functional. He had been wearing a splint up till now to keep it in this position. He just had the surger 6 weeks ago. He had his cast removed, and is now wearing a splint for the next 6 months all the time (except baths). This is his 2nd surgery. His first was nerve transfer surgery.
