Hi I am new to this board My name is Alison - I live in SA & Jenb got me in contact with a tbpi guy here. I am 32 years old & have a tbpi on right arm side 5 years ago caused by car accident.I still receive treatment but this is an unfamiliar injury here in SA - just wanted to find out more from other people with this injury.

Hi T, thanks for the welcome - I am so excited about this board. It is so hard to explain your pain to those that try but have no idea what you are going thru. I have been battling to find people here who know anything about tbpi, they all seem to thumbsuck ideas & then back away when treatment doesn't work.

I have been to the adult board but not as hi i'm new here, but maybe i shall post a similar mess there. you are right that this makes you feel isolated, & frustrated too - this injury is not well known here in SA - some of the articles have opened my eyes & annoyed me too, as I was told no surgery, I would heal, & get on with life & stop moaning....Alison

Hi Alison! Welcome aboard! I'm a fairly recent newcomer to the board but everybody has been great. I'm a tbpi and have been for over 45 years. If I can be of any help adjusting, just ask. Bill
