Hi Mare... don't plan on anything else that day except sleep :) I get quite a reaction on that day and then the next day I feel great. The first time Maia had it, it took her down for two days, the next time one day and then since she just has to sleep a couple of hours or so and then she's fine. It really stirs up "stuff".
Today is her two week anniversary for absolutely no pain.

I'd love to hear about your treatment - email me
francine@litzfamily.com. BTW - are you still planning on coming to the concert?

Nikki - we are talking about a type of chiropractic treatment that originated with Dr. Ted Koren and called the Koren Specific Technique.

For massage and myofascial release I would suggest that you ask your therapist about it - maybe your therapist is trained already? If not, check out www.myofascialrelease.com and look in their directory for someone closeby - John Barnes Institute trains PTs & OTs.

My husband was and he was pretty sore with stiff neck and pain in his ribs from the seat belts but he's ok now Thanks for asking Mare

Saw the chiro today and he was very good. He did the koren therapy. I must say it is alot how do I say less violent. I left there with less pain and a more relaxed feeling. Bonus I get a 30 massage before every visit covered by insurance I'm gonna like this. I went back to work and had more energy then before I see him again on wed. Thank You Francine I think this maybe the soultion to my never ending pain. Mare

Mare- it gets better and better as the "onion's layers are peeled" as Tedd says...

It is now 3 weeks and Maia has no pain. She just got over strep & tonsilitis and normally a fever would cause great pain in her arm.... no pain.

I'm excited to think that this technique was able to shift this kid who was in so much pain that I'd be calling the hospital on weekends because she was literally screaming intensely non stop. It just amazes me. I'm so glad it worked for you, too.

We might be on to something big eh??

Yes but I have to admit all execpt the gun thing that adjusts you is a little weird like when he has me raise my bad arm and think about my illness, he can then push the arm down then he has me think of something I love to do like walking on the beach and when he pushes the arm stays up. Or how about the shaking the ankles to aline the spine. I don't understand it but it seems to work I was supose to go yesterday again but had to cancel no car. but next week I'm going mon. How many times a week did Maia go in the begining my insurance is giving me 15 visits covered and thats it so I hope it works fast.
Thanks again for letting me know about this
