I've got left TBPI from motorbike crash 1992. looking at an epidural injection of steroids for pain control. can anyone relate a short report about having this done? did it work for you? did anything else go wrong?
I'm not taking meds currently but have tried anti-epileptics, anti-arythmics, anti-depressants, methadone, as well as mirrorbox, acupuncture, massage, meditation, diversion (mostly) - yay for the internet, exercise, rest, stillness, and often just lying flat on my back.

Hey... I had one at C5-6 and had some minor relief of my arm pain for maybe a day, then all the pain came back. It was a good diagnostic tool. Good luck!

Hi, Carrie had subclavian block injections to combat the pain from her classic C5-T1 avulsions a couple of years back. She experienced a very slight pain reduction for a hour or so, then it all returned. Good Luck...
