Well we finally got Drake into the Mayo Clinic. Yeah!! But I guess I just assumed it would be with Spinner, Bishop, or Shin since those are the Doctors on the Resource page. I called today and asked which Doctor he would be seeing and they said her name is Nancy Kuntz. Has anyone ever seen her? I'm still not sure what to expect at this appointment. I haven't received paperwork yet, the appointment is October 31st (Drake is not happy about missing his trick or treating). I am hesitant about making flight plans and Hotel reservations until i know for sure, but the sooner the better. Has anyone ever head an appointment change?

Have you called Mayo to ask if he'll be seen by the team? It's possible Dr. Kuntz will do the initial appointment (getting general info) but Drake would still be seen by the other doctors. I see her on their website, listed under 'Child and Adolescent Neurology Subspecialty'. Bottom line, call & ask!

My son Masen initially saw Dr. Kuntz, and it is because you have to have a primary doctor listed at the mayo, he then later during that day or the next saw the surgeons, spinner and chin. We were there for a two day trip that time. Masen had his surgery in january of 07.
