Ramesh,
I am sorry that you are feeling hopeless. I didn't answer because my sons injury does not sound the same as yours. He has full use of hand and no pain. I think with this injury it is unusual. I know people do have some recovery although not 100%. Therapy could help. I have seen where a few have had surgery to get a grip back. Not usually to move each finger but just to be able to squeeze hand enough to pick up objects. My son has full hand but very little bicep. Good luck with your recovery. May God bless you.

Not many (any?) people would be still on here regularly I assume if they recover (to whatever extent). Even people still in a recovery (like me) don't check this LOTS (several times a day/daily etc.) so you have to be patient with people replying.

I have got nerve signal in nerves that had exploratory surgery performed on them after 7-8 months. Until then I had NO nerve signal in my bicep, deltoid and rhomboid. Just doing physio now to try to get my actual muscles to move to my thought. Hopefully I will have recovery of function sometime this year, just no idea of how much recovery I will get.

Check posts by EllenB. Her son had a very serious injury, 5 avulsions and surgery, and she has posted many times about his recovery.

There are many other helpful stories on here too. You just need to go back through some of the older posts.

Good luck.
