Hi. Has anyone here heard about 'Scenar 97.4'? The Scenar 97.4 is a healing device invented by Russian Scientists for use in space, where Russian cosmonauts would have a means of treating themselves in orbit, without the need to take drugs.

Using a simple 9 volt battery the Scenar works by stimulating the brain with a constantly varying signal that causes it to instruct your nervous system to generate Neuropeptides, the key biochemicals needed by your body to heal itself. As we age and, for some conditions, even when we are young, our brain tends to become habituated to a disease or injury rather than aggressively enabling the generation of the neuropeptides needed to affect a complete recovery. Because of its unique, computer controlled biofeedback capabilities and ability to stimulate the neuropeptide-generating c fibres of the nervous system, the Scenar constantly achieves results that amaze people all over the world.

Has anyone here tried it on an erb's palsy baby?

You'll have to pardon my skepticism. I did a search on this product with every scientific journal available in America and it came up with nothing. A general Internet search came up with a web site with content that was pretty much word for word of your above post, along with a hefty price tag for the product.
The web site has some pretty fantastic claims, including one that states this product heals fractures in days. In fact, it also claims to heal everything from arthritis to cardiac arrest. The site itself is questionable even without the frequent and telltale misspellings of medical terms and conditions.
If this is a such a wonderful product that can indeed treat almost every ailment under the sun, where are the peer review articles?

i was in 2 minds about this too, altho i made allowances for the fact that most of it was translated from Russian. However, i do remember reading about some of the same skepticism when keyhole surgery and laser correction of eyesight (both pioneered in Russia) were first talked about, now these are accepted practice. Many bpi surgeons have not had their work peer reviewed either....i'm not saying i believe in this device but i'm keeping an open mind....here's a site, is this the one you found? http://www.scenar.info/

That was one of the sites. Here is another:

http://www.albright-centre.com/therapies_scenar.html

And here is a link from that site which describes all the diseases and injuries it claims to cure:

http://www.albright-centre.com/scenar/s ... sults.html

It even claims to cure the common cold! Sorry, but show me the proof, not just anecdotal stories.
