hi everybody i'm new in this forum. My name is liz and my daughter's name is Leilani she is 11 months old and she has brachial plexus injury i'm so happy to find this web cause i was feeling alone i thougt i was the only one

Hi Liz, and everyone else. My name is Shoan and I just stumbled upon this message board while researching Erb's Palsy. My son Matthew is 8mths. old and has left BP injury. He has improved steadily since birth, however is still unable to properly use the biceps and bend the elbow. I do physical therapy with him myself at home and just started electrical treatments with our local acupuncturist. Any sharing on what you have experienced or found to help will greatly easr my stress about this.

My name is Tanya, and I have a daughter named Amber who has a ROBPI (right obstetrical brachial plexus injury). She is 4 years old. You are not alone unfortunately. I feel like when I found this board, I was welcomed with open arms, found new friends who have helped me to learn a lot and have also helped me to grow to accept my daughter's injury. Now I see my beautiful daughter first and her injury last. You too will get there someday. Feel free to ask any questions on this board, or you can email myself or any others with questions.
