Anyone have pictures of the cast after Dr Divino's Forarm Ostotomy?

Also anyone have diagrams of the surgry and what's involved?

Douglas is going back to TX for this in Feb.

Please send prayers!

I'd be very interested in this also as Dr Nath suggested Corey have a forearm osteotomy too.

Jennie, your name is spelled just like my sisters was:)

My son had the forearm osteotomy done with Dr. Davino two years ago. The cast was a simple hand to elbow with the fingers and thumb free. Don't look at the pictures of the surgery. It looks much worse that it is. My son's arm was uncomfortable the day of the surgery (hate that recovery room experience) because of swelling but he had no pain after that. The pins in his caused some discomfort towards the end of the 3 months but we had him wear a hand/wrist splint until they were removed. It was the easiest of all of his surgeries.
