TWO QUESTIONS...

Hi, I have two questions that maybe I could get some help with. The first question is this...When I do Ella's ROM exercises she gives a lot of resistance to them. It is hard for me to get them done. I finish them, but it takes a lot longer b/c of the resistance. When I first started doing them after she was first born(1mth ago) she let me move her arm anyway I wanted w/o no resistance at all. Is this a good sign, or does it always happen?
My second question is regarding Electric Stimulation and neck adjustments. My chiropractor said that he wants to see Ella b/c he thinks that he may be able to help her out a bit. He wants to do e-stim and a neck adjustment, but I have never heard of a neck adj being done to a baby with BPI. I have heard of e-stim, but who should I ask before having this done? Our PT? Is one month old too young for e-stim? And about the neck adjustment, he said that is wouldnt hurt her, it may only benefit her. Has anyone heard of this being done to this type of injury? Thanks.

THATS FANTASTIC THAT YOUR BABY IS RESISTING.FROM MY EXPERIENCE WITH MY DAUGHTER WHO IS NOW 14MTS OLD,IT CAN MEAN THAT SHE IS GETTING STRENGTH IN HER ARM. I HOPE SHE CONTINUES TO GET MORE AND MORE STRENGTH.MY DAUGHTER BEGAN RESISTING AT APPROX 5MTHS OLD. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY.
