BCBS called on friday to tell me that the company i work for denied alyssas surgery. the bill for doctor naths office is $$,$$$$.$$ and all the insurance is willing to pay is $,$$$.$$, i cried all day friday and am still kinda numb. alyssa just asked why mommy why. i didn't know what to tell her. so i had to cancel the surgery. time to start all over.

KEY WORD...continuity of CARE !!!! That should do it. I use those words everytime I get denied and everytime, they change their minds....if she has had surgery with Dr. Nath before then these magic words would definately do the trick !!!! GAYLE

Call Dr. Nath's office and speak with Sheila and find out what had to be done for other BCBS patients. I'm sure you're not the first one. Good luck.
