we are driving to philly the last week in may. we are true southerners/ i have never seen snow/ so i am wondering what the weather is like at the end of may/in philly/. the weather is up to almost 90 here so we live in shorts & swim as much as possible. anyone else going to be there? would love to meet some friends from to boards.

could be hot
could be chilly at night
bring a lightweight rain jacket or sweatshirt as an extra layer

I will be there the day after Memorial Day. My daughter will start therapy for two weeks. She is having a tendon transfer in her hand on May 4th.

I live in south Alabama where it is real warm also, where are you from?

We've been in Philly in May. We live in Upstate NY, so we have snow from October/November until March/April. It just snowed 2 days ago. Philly in May is warm. We were quite comfortable wearing capri or shorts. Bring a light jacket since you are used to warmer weather, it might feel like a light jacket day/night. There won't be any snow. Don't worry about that. Usually once we are at the NY/PA border, the weather is drastically different and I've never run into snow in the Spring/Summer time in Philly.

The weather is usually nice the end of May in Philly - temps in the 70s.
I live in the area.

i live in philly... and the weather is going to be pretty hot.. maybe some showers... but it's Spring so it might be a little cold ... most of it is going to be warm. humid.

Matthew is probably going to have his cast taken off around May 30, when I know the date and time I'll post it and hopefully we can meet.
