is it true that the camp will switch locations every year? example: this year east coast, next year west coast?

Hi,

We do have camp somewhere different every 2 yrs. First camp was in Colo., 2 yrs ago it was in New York and this year in DC. In 2007 it will be on the west coast, the board has already decided this. After that we aren't sure where it will be.

Hope this answered your question.

I'm so glad to hear it will be on the West Coast in 2007! Living as first west as we can, California, trips to the East Coast are sometimes difficult when traveling with little ones. We hope to make it to camp this year.

Shannon,

Glad you agree about having camp on the west coast. Maybe this way we will have more people, including those coming down from Alaska and over from Hawaii come. Plus I also live on the west coast, use to live in Southern Calif, then Washington State, Alaska and now back in Washington again.

I sure hope you and your family make to camp in DC this year, it is going to a super camp.

Hugs, Karen

I think that we should have the next camp in Houston. Texas has nice weather for an outdoor thing. It is also in the middle of the southern states and it is where I live =)!

P.S. If we have it in Houston I'll bring some treats for everyone! =)

I agree with the Houston Idea. People in the south need love too! ;)

I am in South Louisiana, 3 hours from Houston!

Acctually, before UBPN there was EPIRG and the EPIRG camps were in TX (3 years in a row...in August...) The heat was brutal. I'm sure we'll get back around to the south, but let's get through this one and then the one on the west coast first :o) I love the south, so no problems getting me back there!!

Sometime they should have the camp in New Hampshire around the Lakes Region. There are so many neat things to do in this area. we have the "Big Lake" Winipausakee, then up Rte 93 we have "Ledge" aka The Old man Of the moutain and dozens of other things to do in the state.

How about planning them at state parks and such like yellowstone or grand canyon or mount rushmore then we get to see magnificent america and be around our bpi family. (I love sightseeing stuff like that, but im sure im not thinking about all those important details like? where to sleep and such! I get way too excited to think clear! LOL
