Hi all,

Yes we have finally found a place for camp 2005. Took us a long time to find this place and we are please to announce that camp will be held Sept. 15 - Sept. 18 at the 4H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, MD.

The board of Directors will be looking over the site and signing a contract in late Feb.

Firm pricing and a tentative agenda will follow after we have the opportunity to look the site over and make the final arrangements.

I will be posting more information after March 1st.

What happened to Washington DC during Awareness Week? I thought that was what was being planned.

The town of Chevy Chase is about 20 minutes north of D.C.

Karen could better answer this question about why not during Awareness Week--it was the orignial plan, but we couldnt' get the facilities during that week. It just didn't work out that way...but now it's before Awareness Week and we can get everyone pumped up for Awareness Week!

Yes Peggy is right. After many months of calling and looking for a place that wasn't a hotel, we found that everything we wanted was booked for the week-ends in Oct. The board decided to change the date to Sept. and we were able to book the 4H conference center. It isn't far from downtown DC where our rally will be on Sept. 15. More information will follow as soon as the board meets (end of this month) and we plan out a schedule for camp.

Can't wait to see everyone in Sept.
