Does anyone know if either of these doctors have a website? Especially one that explains each of the surgeries they may perform.

Your best bet is to speak with them directly. I do not believe they are big on websites. There are probably parents here who could answer questions to some degree, but going directly to the source is always the best route when trying to inform yourself.

I do not know the other doctor you are asking about but my daughter sees Dr. Waters and we love him. He is very competent, compassionate and thorough. I've never felt there was a question I couldn't ask, or rushed during his session. He will be performing primary surgery on our daughter on the 29th. I completely trust him and his ability. Hopefully someone can let you know whether or not they recommend the other doctor you are asking about. Remember this is only my opinion, but I know I felt better after getting referals from other moms who see Dr. Waters. Thanks.

Dear Ashleigh's mom,

How is Ashleigh doing? My son Michael had surgery with Dr. Waters the day before Ashleigh on the 28th. Did you get stuck in the city for the World Series parade? We took off the day Michael was discharged because we didn't want to get stuck there with 3 million expected people for the parade. Fenway Park is only 4 blocks away from the hospital. Michael is doing well with his spica cast. He is actually driving me nuts! I guess that's a good thing. We are heading back to Boston the 5th, settling in to our hotel room and then the cast comes off the 6th at 2:00 PM followed by PT and OT at 3:30. When do you go back? Hope things are moving right along with you and Ashleigh.

Ashleigh's surgery is Nov 29th (in 3 days) so we haven't yet had it. We are anxious (as you can imagine) but know it is the right decision. How did surgery go for your son? Was he in a lot of pain? I'm glad to hear he's doing well with the cast and all. Please keep me appraised of how he is doing once the cast comes off also. Good luck at the hospital in Dec. I wish you the best!
