poems about BPI?

Hey everyone! I am a student at FSU majoring in elementary education and ESE. (It's taking me FOREVER to get through!) In one of our classes, we have to make a collage about who we are and I wanted to include a poem about Tyler's BPI. Does anyone know any good ones I could use. Also since this month in National Brachial Plexus Awareness month, I am going to put the ribbon in my collage and use the poem and ribbon as a way to witness to people about Brachial Plexus Injuries. Thanks for the help:)

What a wonderful idea. If I come up with a poem I will send it off to you.

Best to you in school.

Hugs, Karen

Didn't BV write an AMAZING poem a while back? Anyone keep it?

It was published in last year's Outreach, the Awareness Issue.

this is BV's poem

You and I
by "B.V."

You wake. I call.
You reach. You try.
You fall. I lift.
You ache. I soothe.
You come. I hug.
You too.
You try.

They bat. They swing.
You watch. I cringe.
Then
I let
you go.
You play. You win.
I cry.

You grow. I will.
You dream. I plan.
You can. You can't.
You grasp. You learn.
I learn.

You find. They stare.
You ask. I ask.
(inside... I yell ...)
You want. You give.
They laugh. You love.
I try.

I drive you there.
P.T. They care.
It hurts. You cry.
Once more, they say.
My heart. Your will.
I cheer. I'm there.
I clap.
You clap.
Well
You try.

At last, at night.
You sleep. You're free.
You're still. I kiss.

I pray.

You bless.
