11yrs after nerve graft surgery arm won't straighten

My son had nerve graft surgery at 11mths this surgery appeared to work really well and we continued on with life so to speak without much of a backwards glance. The RCH (we are located in Victoria, Australia) were really happy with his progress and we haven't had to see them since around 2005 (surge...

shoulders not level - bpi side lower

my son's shoulders are not level his bpi side drops, i was wondering if this is normal?

he is unable to wear overalls because the strap does not stay on but keeps dropping down, he also has some problems wearing a jacket undone.

can anyone help?

it is so great to read many inspirational messages, so many times i hear about surgery after surgery, and pain that i was becoming so worried. thankyou all

<t>kathleen thankyou for your reply i must admit we haven't done any rom exercises since he had his operation, the physio never gave us anymore to do and when i mentioned it i was told that there was no longer any need. He does use his arm when he needs to but just lets in hang at his side otherwise...

thankyou all so much it is so heartening to see that he will be able to continue on with not too many worries the idea of taking him out of P.E for his self esteem is a very good idea and one that will be kept in mind.
