Any New Treatments
<t>Hello,<br/> It has been a long time since I posted. It is nearly ten years since my RTBPI. I had on surgery and have regained a lot of use. I just can't raise my arm to my head, chest level is as high as it goes. The pain is still as new as when it happened. I have been using Fentaynl patches, 50...

Re: New Doctor
<t>Hi Peggy, No, I won't being going to camp. Only because I made plans last February to go to Las Vegas to babysit for my daughter's 6 year old twins. The plane tickets and reservations were made months before I knew the camp dates. Hopefully, I will be able to go next year. But, if you are going, ...

<t>Hi, I usually post on the TBPN board but I wanted to share with you . I saw a Dr. Allen Maniker in Newark, NJ on Monday. He is with the Peripheral Nerve Center. Re: Saw Another Doctor
Hi Courtney,
From my experience, I would definetly say...don't wait.
Get another opinion as soon as possible. Where I am, the doctors don't even know what a BPI is, so how could they treat it. That told me...let's wait and see. There is treatment out there...Good luck, Rhoda

<r>Hi, It has been a long time since I have posted. I have been very busy tending to my elderly mom in a nursing home and time slips away at the end of the day. Re: SURVEY: What are you doing for Awareness Week?
<t>Hi Francine, I gave out a lot of the silver ribbons. I gave some to an ER nurse and to a nuerologist at our local hospital. I wrote a letter to the editor and it was printed in our local newspaper today. I live in Southern New Jersey and when I talk about BPI's, the response is always "What's tha...

This year, I decided to buy some of the silver ribbon pins for awareness and share them with the RN's, PT's and OT's. While doing this I discovered one of the Aides ha...

<t>Hi,When I fell in 2/11/2000, along with the RTBPI, I suffered a torn rotaor cuff and knee damage. All along I have been told that that there could be nothing done to treat these injuries until the BPI was healed. Yesterday, I saw an Ortho. who is treating my knee first.I will have PT for 6 weeks ...
