UBPN 2021-2022 2nd Place Scholarship Recipients!
Here is the long-awaited announcement of our 2nd Place co-awardees of the 2021-2022 UBPN Academic Scholarship. Congratulation to Brianna Morillo and Sophie Visser, each awarded $250!
Brianna says: "Thank you so much to everyone at UBPN for running an amazing organization that has offered myself and so many others support with their injury. I am honored to be one of this year's scholarship recipients and will use it to continue my education in electrical engineering. I would like to say as a message for everyone to not let your injury hold you back, we can do anything we aspire to- even though we might need a little modification. Thank you again!"
Sophie says: "I want to thank UBPN for awarding me this scholarship. This gives me the opportunity to study my masters in Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology in Dundee. Establishing oneself in the scientific community isn’t easy with a disability, so thank you UBPN for supporting me, as well as many others, along the way."
